I actually don't come into soccer threads trashing the sport. I enjoy soccer, I played for my entire childhood and high school years. I'm not as big of a fan as I used to be, simply because it doesn't get near the attention here as it gets elsewhere. I made a comment about people coming into American football threads and trashing them the way you're accusing people of doing the same in soccer threads. You took offense to that as though it was a personal shot at yourself. It wasn't. It was a statement that it happens both ways.

My mistake once again, getting tired and I read that as the sticky football thread at the top.
Even so, it wasn't what I asked - An example of a thread about American football which I'm come in to try and trash with the same old shit. I have no problem with you making threads about why American football is so much better than football, if you like. What I'm just getting fed up with is every thread about football getting trashed by people with this same old joke, over and over again and spoiling the conversation. I dont do it in threads about American football. I've asked people to stop ruining these threads but no, people still feel the need to carry on this spamming shit.

Had you quoted my entire post it would have accurately stated my views and not skewed it to back up your claim that I go around to each thread starting the soccer vs football debate. That thread was not a thread about football (soccer). If you don't want me to post in this thread, don't quote me in it, and sure as hell don't make false accusations or quotes out of context. I don't care about the debate, it is as pointless as arguing over vanilla vs chocolate ice cream, and if you read the post to which you skewed in it's entirety, was my point to begin with.

And? I had finals week then went camping, have not been around. I found it late, and when misquoted or had something I have posted skewed or misused I am going to defend myself. The subject matter is is a moot point, being misquoted and skewing things that I have said to make another point is entirely different. Frankly, this is a thread, not some holy grail. You should have fun with it and agree that it should not be a place for spamming. However, you chose this arena to use my words in a deceiving fashion, therefore, you chose this as the arena not me.
