Families often connect during holidays, but everyday rituals matter too. Do you have simple traditions like evening walks, weekly games, or Sunday cooking? How do these routines affect closeness?

I wouldn't call these rituals but we have some activities that we like to do. For instance, I like to take my kids to grocery shopping. I like them to buy foods and vegetables they they like to eat. I also take them for evening walk, sometimes.

Those activities sound meaningful even if you don’t label them as rituals. Taking your kids grocery shopping and letting them choose foods teaches decision making and responsibility, while evening walks provide quality time and conversation. I think small, consistent activities like these can create lasting bonds and a sense of routine that feels comforting and grounding for children.

I don’t have formal rituals, but simple routines help. For example, taking evening walks or cooking together lets everyone slow down and connect. Even small, repeated activities create shared memories and a sense of belonging that strengthens relationships over time.
