I like them real. I also go for the Blue Spruce and if available, I'll go for the the tallest and widest diameter tree as i love lots of collectible ornaments on mine. I don't like my tree looking too overcrowded with ornaments hence the size selection ;)

However, with current living conditions too...fake trees will work well for now :p

It just seems like such a waste to me to kill a tree just to decorate your house with for one day.

I don't prefer real due to the fact we only use it once a year, then throw it away and forget that was once a growing plant that was chopped down only for one use.........weird

 I am with you guys on this as I am a nature lover and hate for them to kill/chop off a tree just for one season use. However, where my cousin lives near the mountains, there's this Christmas Tree Farm where we see every year, they chop off the tree not too low at the base and then they grow back every year too. IDK though if that's the same for all types of trees and if that's how it really is. I wonder.....:humm::dunno

There's a few that don't cut the roots off, then you can replant it. I'd go for that, but I don't want the needles through the house!

Well, it's a matter of personal preferences hence the poll :p Everyone is unique and we cant all please everyone ;)

However, i agree with you about the needles. but like the Blue Spruce and some other trees which one can ask info at the sellers or tree farm where the needles dont shed as much. That's my same way of thinking too b4, till i tried it and now love eeeeetttt.....:D

look at it like this, those trees are farmed.....so if people continue to buy real trees there will continiue to be fresh trees planted,if people stopped buying them the land would probably turned over to some cereal crop or something

i have a fake tree but i prefer real, but having 2 dogs puts me off a bit, trees encourage dogs to mark a scent

I have no problem with buying a tree off a farm, but most people I know drive out into the woods and cut down their own tree.

Well aware hun.

I wasn't saying different, I was agreeing with you on the replanting thing, that's cool.

For all the ones that get trashed though sucks... cut it up for fire fuel at least!:willy_nilly:

 Yeah, I agree and i think maybe it depends on one's location. What i know is after the holidays, there' s a particular day for tree collections as per ordinance on that town or State, the used trees are being recycled. IDk with other States tho' :dunno

.......AND you're right, if they're not being recycled or used for fuel then they're a waste :(

I think if the trash truck gets there first they go to the dump.(

If Bryan would let me i'd keep my tree up year round and change the decorations to fit the season :D
