F1 2012 season.

Testing for the 2012 season starts this coming Tuesday at Jerez,not sure if OTZ as a F1 following but as you will notice very quickly i am a bit on it.

To start of my F1 ramblings i thought i would post a few pictures of the 2012 cars as and when they are launched,4 teams have so far unveiled them being Caterham,Mclaren,Force India and Ferrari,Lotus are set to unveil their some time this afternoon.

I must say the new stepped nose on all but the Mclaren looks bloody awful:eek

I concur. The new nose looks crap. Still, We've yet to see how Red Bull will handle the regulation. Maybe it will be nice like McLaren' - we'll find out lunchtime tomorrow I guess.

Well Lotus have just unveiled their 2012 challenger and again a stepped nose,not as ugly as some have produced as it seems to flow a little better,maybe the black and gold colour scheme just hides it better.

It will be a interesting season with the removal of engine mapping and blown diffusers,can RedBull produce a championship car without these devices is the big question as last year they sure did seem to benefit from it more than most.

Sorry m8 i have not seen it...if the Admin wish to merg them i am happy with that.

And here is the RedBull RB8 with it's nose job that has just been unveiled....i have a feeling the rules will be tweaked to lose that look even though it is aimed at safety...the rule for a lower nose was due to the fear of the damage the higher ones could cause in a T-bone accident.

The Williams FW34....i do hope this is a major step forward for the Williams team,anyone got any thoughts on Bruno senna??? i feel he as got what it takes to win just not sure if he will have what it takes to be a champion,lets hope the car now powered by Renault gives him the tools to show us what he has up his sleeve.

Time will tell on that Red Bull. Already people are commenting on the vent...

For me, I'm hoping Williams have a better season. They are the team I would most like to see regain their former glory, or at least make a step forward from last year which can't really get much worse.
