Yes I do have a child. And if my child was raped, I'd want to be there to support them in their recovery. I would not want to be locked in jail because I wanted to satisfy my own feelings of revenge.

Point taken and agreed upon. But I'd sure as hell find some way to handle it that would keep me out of jail then.

Either that or...as boomer said...it wouldnt go over well in any jail

That's ridiculous.. If everyone played judge and laid down their own laws, we'd be right back in the wild west. We have laws and police for a reason. Yeah this is a crazy situation, but there are people jumping all over this, and I'll bet my soul on it that those guys will be retried.
 
Ive heard about people my cousin saw come into the pin. People that had raped kids. The inmates would beat them randomly. Take their food from them, their clotes, bed roll. Everything. They would be in living hell or killed.

Believe me, these guys WILL NOT go scot free because of an inept judge.
 
so women getted raped in saudi and then punished with flogging for it,and we put that down to saudi being a vile place run by vile people.
but australia?i would like to know if the judge would have made the same stupid decision if the girl had been white and not aboriginal?

the rapists in question however...i feel that the law doesnt deal effectively with these types of crime.as a mother i would expect the right to torture to death any scum like these.

i have a daughter...she has grown up around a biker community and so has many uncles who protect her and the other kids(especially the girls)since they only go out to rock oriented and biker venues these girls are totally protected.they have been allowed to drink from the age of 12 and so protect their drinks from spiking automatically and have some alcohol tolerance.
it gives me great peace of mind to know that me and mine are protected in this way..........sad that the world is like that,but if the law actually PUNISHED crimes it would be better.
i think weve now proved that rehabiltation doesnt work,so lets hang draw and quater again.(feeding these persons genitals to them would be good)
