Eyelash Tinting?

Has anyone had this done?

My eyelashes are dark brown for the most part, but at the tips they seem to get fairer. The difference between wearing mascara and not is very noticeable, but the problem with wearing mascara is I always end up with panda eyes! So I was thinking about whether getting my eyelashes dyed black would make a difference :)

So is it worth doing? And is it dangerous?
 
My friend tried to tint her eyelashes by herself (she was doing a beauty course at the time so thought she knew what she was doing). Her eyelashes went from a light blonde colour to.... purple. It was so funny but alas, she didn't see the funny side.
 
Like most things, it'd have to be done on a regular basis. There are a few things I started that I really regret because of the constant attention and time out of my life. Nails, pedicure and snatch waxing are a few that come immediately to mind. It's actually the latter that is the most unpleasant because of the discomfort the first few hours following said "muff mowing." And since I'm not seeing anybody at the moment...it's a total waste of time. Yet it would still beat having to weed whack it when I DO meet somebody... 4qhm5g.jpg

LOL omg :) okay, that's probably not the effect I want :p I think I'd get it done by someone else, I don't feel confident enough to mess about with dye near my eyes haha.

I went through a phase of having that done when I had a boyfriend who lived in another country, it made sense to get it done before I saw him since then I didn't have to worry about it growing back while I was over with him! I gave it up though, I didn't like how long you had to wait for it grow out before you could have it done.

I'll have to look up how long eyelash tinting would last. I guess if it lasted long enough it'd be worth it, in comparison to buying new mascara all the time :D
 
No, I haven't. I prefer getting a couple semi-perm eyelashes in from time to time to give my lashes a little extra 'umph'. They're nice to wear when you don't want to bother with doing anything else to your eyes.

Have you tried using a mascara that is extra black?:)

Mascara works fine, I just don't like how it keeps smudging and eventually wears off. It'd be cool to try something that lasts longer and doesn't rub off on the pillow :p

I didn't even think of semi-perm eyelashes! I don't get fake eyelashes, I keep trying them but they feel weird on my eyelids. Do you get those ones where they sort of attach fake lashes to your own or something?

Have you tried a waterproof mascara? Or do you run into the same problem? If I wear waterproof mascara, I don't usually end up looking like a raccoon.

I get my lashes done professionally - it's a 'treat' for myself. The ones that I have done are individual lashes, not the full lash. They look and feel like your very own eyelashes, too!:)
 
I don't use black mascara most of the time.... i bought one last time i went for black hair and almost finish now so using this until it will finish when this gone i will go back to brown mascara that i always use.... i make mine to look lighter colour ...


i don't think i will do any tinting as don't want them more darker

but i do colour my eyebrows depends of what colour hair i got... i do this at home myself :D
