So you're saying you had humility until you "touched the mind of God"? Somehow I think you had a healthy dose of arrogance from the very beginning.

In your mind, what is the importance of finding God?

You are right. Humble is not in my nature. That is why I had the balls to challenge God to show or go.
He showed.

My goal was to confirm my spiritual and world views. I wanted confirmation or I was basically ready to end my inquiry into reality.

In the American language, as opposed to the English language, perfect does not necessarily mean excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement; entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings or unqualified; absolute. In American, there can be degrees of perfection.

The Preamble to the United States Constitution wrote:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union ...

Jesse Jackson, Jr. wrote a book, A More Perfect Union: Advancing New American Rights.
"A More Perfect Union" is the name of a speech delivered by the Senator for Illinois, Barack Obama () on March 18, 2008 in the course of the contest for the 2008 Democratic Party presidential nomination.
Scott Mutter, an American photographer, has a gallery called, A More Perfect World.
Cynthia Nolan, at the annual meeting of the International Studies Association, San Diego, California, USA on Mar 22, 2006 presented a paper entitled "More Perfect Oversight: Intelligence Oversight and Reform".

If you cannot see language this way then good going to better is for you.

Were you born as perfect or as good as nature could produce with what it had to work with?

DL

I see.. I did not know that.

I don't think anyone was born as good as nature could produce. We inherit our traits from our parents, who both have imperfections. The human body is very primitive and not at all suitable to live the lifestyle we live today. We are programmed to eat as much as possible when food is available, and our body takes up all the energy, fat and so on, from what we eat. 10,000 years ago this was very beneficial, because food was not as easily accessible as it is now. Today, it causes the modern man to become fat.

I see nothing here that says that even with defective DNA, nature will still not do the best it can with the material at hand.

Do you think nature recognizes defects or imperfections and decides to NOT do the best it can to produce a viable entity?

Even an infant born with defects must be seen as the best that nature could do with the DNA at hand. This is evolving perfection.
