Nah :) I used to wish I had an older brother, since I was the eldest of three girls, all I wanted was someone older and of a different gender around!

I, surprisingly, hadn't ever wished I was an only child. I had heard too many others complain about not having someone around to do cool stuff with so I wouldn't have wanted that. I did, however, wish my sister wouldn't use all the damn hot water in the morning and that she wasn't such a suck up to the parents lol. It would have made things a lot easier.

Technically I am. I have half sisters and brothers but I'm the only child from my mom and I've only met 2 sisters.

My sister is a PITA. She believes the sun, moon, stars & earth all revolve around her.

I'm an only child and loved every minute of it when I was growing up. I never felt lonely either because I've always had friends to spend time with if I wanted to.

And that myth about only children being spoiled rotten isn't very true.

Yesterday was Mother's Day. My mother and sister live together. The miracle is probably that they have not killed each other. I have not visited Mom recently although we talk on the phone regularly. My son and I went over to visit and have lunch. Seems my sister stubbed her toe yesterday morning, she may have broke it. For the 2.5 hours we were there my sister was constantly sighing and looking at her toe or moaning if she had to move. We could not carry on a conversation without her re-telling how it happened or making some noise to make sure we all knew she was in pain. My son and I were both ready to scream so we cut our visit short.
