My cousin broke a car window and I had to pay for half of it. I still say it was unfair.

The rest of the story. My cousin was very irritating on a good day. He had a tremendous temper which he could not control. I was three years older than him so when we were young I could outrun him when he got mad. He was real mouthy about something so I grabbed a washcloth out of some dishwater and washed his face with it. I took off running out the door with him hot on my trail. He picked up a rock and threw it at my head. I ducked and it broke a car window. When I found out I had to pay half I asked, "Was I suppose to stop the rock with my head?":tooth

Coming from a Italian heritage both me and my sister expected a bit of corporal punishiment.... but I realized Mom might be taking things a bit too far when I exicitedly wanted to ride the Texas Giant at Six Flags before she was ready (I guess) and suddendly felt a wooden spoon hit my ass from nowhere!!!!

I can remeber saying "Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't let Wooden Spoons in Six Flags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't spoke to him in years. I wonder if he still has issues controlling his temper.

Similar story... Brother threw one of our kid sister's gumboots at me, I ducked, a conservatory window got broke.
the three of us were all deemed to be at fault, and we all copped a beating.

This was back in the early 90's in NYC. My mom and I went with my neighbor and her kid to the park. The park had this step pyramid type thing, that you could climb and sit on, and it was pretty high. Well, my friend and I are climbing it, and he loses his balance which causes him to fall backwards and tumble down, gashing his forehead. Good thing people witnessed it because he tried to claim that I pushed him.
