i also have a dislike for umbrellas.... i always feel bad when someone offers me theres and then i have to climb under (im ususally taller) then i have to bend my knees and walk or walk like frotto the whole time... its just an uncomfortable experience!

well- i would not take an umbrella that does not belong to me out of someone else' hand... like charmer said-- one of you is bound to get wet- if i have the umbrella, i know im protected, and then they will get the drippy sides of the umbrella all up on their shoulders, leading to them getting wet....
