european robin and how tame he can be

this time of year when all is frozen its pretty easy with robins,just hold your hand out with a few dried meal worms in your palm

I will most definitely try that - I thought you had to 'tame' them first, by getting them used to your presence and then inching closer and closer.

might have to wait for the warmer weather for those,in the winter i tend to walk him local,way too many schools around here for photography...in the summer we go on long walks:D

great photos! I wish I could hold a bird. only time was probably when we rescued a injured dove, but it died, and way back when I was a little 7th grader in Florida this bird paradise place and we got to feed this little parrots as we held the food :p they went all over me.

I've come within a couple of inches or so of a robin but that was all it was having.
