I never really thought of that, Americans always go on about how they helped us out - but we took the full force of what happened along with France, Holland and the other dozens of countries Germany tried to invade.

At the end of the day it is the past and hopefully we will learn from it.

Peter - how is sunny Essex?

Essex is the sunniest place in Britain, especially at the moment.:)

And Boomer, I do feel for your guys loss especially their families but we were the ones in danger of being taken over as a Nazi state and it was every citizen who was at risk from the bombs, thanks for the help though!:)

When I was stationed in Afghanistan, we were out of a joint air base, and I worked with the British Royal Marines, and the Spanish Army.

You Europeans can raise some bad boys. Tough as nails for the most part. It was good times.

Yeah, you make'em bleed and they change their whole fuckin attitude. I got in a scrap with a french guy at a bar. I put my quarters down for the next game in pool. When it was my turn I went over there and he told me to fuck off. I was told him he didnt have to be a bitch about it. Thats when he slapped me with his fucking glass. I beat his face till all I could see was a puddle. Bastard, got me kicked outa my favorite bar too. *kicks a rock*
