EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact.

Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month.

A meeting of 21 scientists in Parma, Italy, concluded that reduced water content in the body was a symptom of dehydration and not something that drinking water could subsequently control.

the problem here is that people are drinking locally bottled spring water,the EU dont like that...now if we were all drinking water from a rat and sewage infested river seine things might be different

Oh yea. "If you put ketchup on your hamburger and french fries that's an extra serving of veggies!!!!! Now there's no excuse to not order that quarter pounder.

I'm just going to continue drinking the blood of virgins from my ceremonial chalice. I've yet to see an E.U. ruling banning me from doing that.
