Frankly I really don't see whats so special about filet minion myself... I don't even eat steak anymore.

Tee hee...filet minion. :tooth You're missing out...steak is delicious. I don't buy filet mignon b/c I'm not overly fussy about my cut of steak, though. Sirloin is fine w/ me.

Interesting discussion, I'm actually in a class where we are discussing whether or not things such as food stamps/health insurance/etc. should all be considered a public good in which the government provides it for everyone and to everyone--like roads and lighthouses and things like that.

Public health service here is very good. Not sure if I like the idea of paying extra taxes just so the government can give me food stamps though.

The old food stamps may have had a stigma in more wealthy states in the U.S. But where I'm from in Maine, so many people used them that if you had to use the old food stamps, you actually blended in with the community. Maine is one of the poorest states in America.
