another sleepless night to add to my sorry eyes
the person who is born in my head today
murders the man from yesterday
only to birth another one tomorrow and die

idolize the broken record players
and immortalize our mistakes
by spreading the gospel of our paper deities
and worshiping our fakes

there will come a time when our hearts beat to the rhythym
of the songs of a thousand murdered yesterdays
and all our 'success' can't save us
as our technicolor utopias fade to grays
