Indigenous and local practices often conflict with modern environmental regulations. Should traditional resource management adapt to global standards, or are long-standing practices more sustainable? How can policy balance ecological goals with cultural preservation? Can compromise prevent conflict?

I think traditional land use is more sustainable than the modern land use. For instance, traditional farming is sustainable compared to modern day industrial farming. I think activism should focus more on modern day malpractices.

Traditional practices often evolved with local ecosystems, sometimes proving more sustainable than modern methods. Adapting to global standards can help address broader environmental concerns, but policies should respect cultural knowledge. Collaborative frameworks and compromise can align ecological goals with heritage, preventing conflict while promoting sustainability.

Local ecosystem depends from the country you are talking about not every country has the same local ecosystem there is no standardisation in the story in between.
