Looks like you "tan" like I do. You get a very pronounced sunburn but when that fades there's hardly any colour left at all. I tan very slowly but my arms have tonnes of freckles on them in summer.

Eh ok so a Mum at work just made me cry. I hope she got a bollocking for it. There is no need to speak to staff like that when all we are doing is looking after your baby. Verbal abuse. I sincerely hope you are appalled at your own behaviour and ashamed.

Well the only time we ask parents not to visit is an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening because we have hand over. One of the nurses told her she could come in before we had finished but didnt tell us so I asked her politely to give us a few more minutes. She left then when I left I said to her she could go in and she was really confrontational "what is your name? Who is the manager nurse in charge" etc so I said I'd be back and I'd find out. She walked into the nursery and I could hear her shouting as I walked away to get the nurse in charge. One of my colleagues came found me and said the mum had been swearing and shouting "I'm not fucking feeding my baby until I speak to someone in charge"

Woke up this morning feeling a little odd. My friend was round last night, we had a few drinks and she stayed over. She left early since she has a younger son who is on school holidays just now. I almost felt like I was lonely, I've been feeling that quite a lot lately so I've been trying to keep busy. I had planned on a lazy day since I'm working nightshift tonight but I dragged myself to the gym and now I feel a lot better.

I think I have finally clicked and back in healthy mode. I've spent too long out of it. Remembering how the gym makes me feel good has opened my eyes to the junk I've been eating lately and I think that's been affecting my mood as well. Onwards and upwards from here!
