We often associate eating disorders with women, yet many men struggle silently with body image and control. How can we make the conversation around eating disorders more inclusive?

Not just eating disorder, a lot of disorders are often overlooked in men. One main reasons is men are considered tough and it is believed any kind of mental disorders and issues are considered sign of weakness, so men are less willing to admit what is happening with them.

In.my society it is because they love to associate the negatives a lot with females. They don't look at what the males are doing.

Eating disorders in men are often overlooked because society stereotypes them as a women’s issue. Many men struggle with body image, muscle pressure, and food-related anxiety, but they stay silent due to shame and fear of being judged as weak. Symptoms are ignored, misdiagnosed, or minimized, so men rarely get early help. The lack of awareness and open conversation keeps the problem hidden and painful.
