I only felt the one quake, a few years back. It was very early in the morning and I was in bed reading. But I felt the walls and bed shake, and the ever so slight groans of shifting foundations. It was only a very small quake, but I found it quite scary. It's something you have no control over.

Back years ago we had a real tiny quake in the midwest. I was at the bank waiting in my car to get to the teller and the car shook ever so slightly. I did not think much of it but sure enough the next day in the news they said there had been one.
