There is an obvious east coast bias in all major American sports. I just had to get that off my chest because it pisses me off sometimes.

What kind of bias??? I mean, it's not like we can help it that the SEC has some of the most powerful teams in college football. :dunno Yeah, I know, everybody is sick of the hype that the SEC gets...cry me a fucking river. Anybody that can look at the National Championship game and tell me that Notre Dame gave Alabama a bigger fight than my Dawgs is welcome to argue why the SEC gets more coverage than the BCS w/ me, IJS

How do you say this when the Packers and Vikings both went to the playoffs? The rest earned their positions as the best in their divisions.
I don't follow little league football. I am talking about pro sports. In baseball all the media talks about is Boston and New York, NFL is all about the east coast and so is basketball and hockey.
Didn't the Giants (*ahem* WEST Coast) win the World Series this year??? :dunno

That is my point. The Giants won the world Series and the media covered them that night and moved on. If the Yankees would have won the media would still be praising them
That's because it's the Yankees! They won 18 division titles, 40 AL pennants and 27 World Series. Love them or hate them, you can't take away the records they've set and must give credit where credit is due.
