its very had to purchase stuff off of ebay, and then turn around and sell it for a profit. You have to cover all the shipping and handling prices. It normally only works if you either 1- get luck, 2 - buy in bulk, or 3 - buy in the off season and sell in season, ie golf stuff

hey its Haus' sister again. he told me you guys wanted some tips for ebaying.
ok so this is basically what i did/do..

i went thru my closets and picked all the crap i didnt wear, didnt want or just stupid stuff that me and my boyfriend were basically tripping over.

then when i ran out of all that stuff i got greedy and started going to every Marshalls and Ross and even TJ maxx i could find and basically looked at EVERYTHING on the clearance racks. i bought the stuff i knew would sell on ebay and i make my starting bid for atleast $5 more than what i paid for it. i also use the BUY IT NOW option too. my little secret is, if it doesnt sell on ebay after a 2nd round of listing, return it to where you bought it.

you basically just have to do your homework and check ebay out and see what sells the best on there. like clothing wise the most popular brand is Abercrombie. Actually, you can pretty much sell ANHYTHING on ebay..if you have it, someone will most likely eventually buy it.

and i 100% agree with whoever said a picture will help your stuff sell , cause it will get you ALOT more views and potential buyers.

ebay is fun if youhave the time. its definitely nice to have a never ending supply of money, everytime i spend money on something, i have more the next day!

I buy stuff from ebay ALL the freakin time, but Ive never sold anything. My question is, do you have to have a credit card to sell stuff on there?

hey missoctober - i know this is silly, but do they ever realize at the stores that you are always returning things? or does the stuff usually sell anyhow. how do you know what sells? how can you see on ebay what the popular stuff is?

Realy anything sells and her idea of trying to sell it and if it dont sell return it is brilliant :rock I am going to make sure everything has pictures from now on I just was in a hurry to make my first sale :cool

yeah im pretty sure you do cause buying stuff on ebay is free but selling stuff through ebay, they charge a sellers fee so im pretty sure you need a credit card or at least a debit card with a visa or mastercard logos so they can charge your credit card. i havent bought or sold anything on ebay for a while so i forget the basics. i think they charge a % of how much you make.
