went to the drag strip last night to do a coupla runs....
never fucking happened.
theres some event going on today (saturday) that i had no idea of yesterday... so they were running time trials, qualifying, and spots?, and they also did some jr dragsters...
so about 10.00, i went to the ticket shack, and asked em if they were gonna run the street class, and they said they had a lot of shit to do, so if it was gonna happen, it was gonna happen about 12.00 or so... so i stuck around, watched some cars go down the track.. 1 dropped oil on the track...
about 11.30 or so, still running cars and spots or something, the 1954-5 truck next to me was getting ready to run. they checked the charge of teh batteries, and looked all good, and so they proceded to startup the truck, but the engine bay started glowing orange.....so they put out the fire and the dude ran the truck, dont remember any numbers, learned that you dont put out an engine fire with the powered extingusiher, but the co2 extinguisher, unless the fire has already fucked over the engine and engine bay...
but around 11.43 or so, it started raining... so i hauled booty to my car to close a window, and then it started raining like hell.
so i was pissed that i didnt get to run
