Then you're unwilling or unable to think critically, because that requires some degree of empathy.

No, but that's hardly relevant to what the majority (which you apparently place great importance on) thought in 1955.

You have empathy for racism?
Really?

No.

Do you think the struggle for civil rights is anti-social behavior?
No, but that's hardly relevant to what the majority (which you apparently place great importance on) thought in 1955.

Your reply is a non sequitur.
If you think civil rights is not antisocial behavior, then those that are oppressed have a moral right to make their case known.

The quality of social values that a society holds are reflected in the concept of laws, how they are applied and voting to change such associations.

What I posted to you in regards to leaving a society or voting to change it applies to me and every citizen that votes. If this society becomes unbearable for me and I can not change it, the option to leave is there for me as it is you.

But the concept of pro social behavior is NOT irrelevant in any situation, even ones that reject the issues.

( come on...you can do better at attacking me that that.....too easy )

It's easy (and lazy) to take a piece out of context and call it non sequitur. I've noticed that you use such things as a defense mechanism - a turtle shell to hide in when you run out of actual things to say, so I'll leave you be.

Now put in your last word.

You funny guy :D

:p

edit: especially after rereading the last few pages and watching you try to take me out of context LOL!

LMAO! Yeah really.

I guess it just depends if one is on the inside or not.
Do we have the best place because we keep criminals off the street?
Or do we have the worst ..as shown by our prison population.

By the influx of immigrants one could choose the former.

But in all reality...IMO we have people locked up that shouldn't be..and serious offenders getting off to light.

I admit to being computer illiterate.
Perhaps time will help.

Its not about the computer ..its about the editor and quote tags

You have the start tag and end tag.....if you have any text in between those tags it will show up as a quote by that member.
One cant quote his self within those tags..he needs to quote himself outside those tags with a new set of tags

I agree. The sentencing that certain offenders get are mind blowing sometimes.

We also lock people up with lack of or manufactured evidence ...Untold numbers have already been exposed...many more remain locked up as they dont have the political backing to uncover the corruptness in their case.

Conclusion ..America is just to quick to lock up someone.

Ended up happening to Zimmerman.
Whats odd is there was no conflict of interest to call in a special prosecutor....That should have went to Zimmerman after an arrest.

Public appeasement...another reason for biased prosecution.

Question to Greatest I Am.......what is your motive for arguing to change the drug laws in the United States? Or are your arguments only to Canadian law?

I've found evidence you live in Angus, Ontario, Canada.

Are you still a resident there?
Do you hold US citizenship?

Wrong guy. Must be some other Canadian.

The U. S. is the spearhead of the War against it’s ownchildren. It’s policy of a prohibition system that has never worked is what iscausing the West countless social problems.

It does so against drug reports like Ney York`s
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaGuardia_Commission

It is bested by Canada`s http://books.google.ca/books?id=L_5gu-eUfE8C&pg=PA192&lpg=PA192&dq=ledain+royal+cannabis&source=bl&ots=S3_1fI4DVE&sig=vqezB8XgFn7FiY-FBJzYscWlXOU&hl=en&sa=X&ei=zEdiT87JBYHo0QGRt4CaCA&sqi=2&ved=0CC4Q6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=ledain royal cannabis&f=false

This report along with one that includes all drugs are consideredthe bibles of the addiction research world.

Yet the Governments are not following their own best advice andthe will of the people.

Canada will not likely change it`s laws till the U. S. does. That is why I focus on it.

Like the Le`Dain report, my focus is on children and care orharm principles, trust in law and freedom of choice.

P.S.
Thanks for that link above. I will check it out.

I understand why many get upset with the draconian laws in place, but that hardly justifies your attempts to legalize addiction.

If you bothered to notice, I don't use the arguments common to the current thinking in the Federal Government.

The link to
http://books.google.ca/books?id=L_5gu-eUfE8C&pg=PA192&lpg=PA192&dq=ledain+royal+cannabis&source=bl&ots=S3_1fI4DVE&sig=vqezB8XgFn7FiY-FBJzYscWlXOU&hl=en&sa=X&ei=zEdiT87JBYHo0QGRt4CaCA&sqi=2&ved=0CC4Q6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=ledain royal cannabis&f=false

doesn't work for me.

Here is a link to the Le Dain Commission Interim Report (1970) but I don't know what or why you would link to it.

Looks like I get to call bullshit on another of your claims :D

Then why not argue for the rational solution, decriminalization of drug abuse?

You have little credibility in that area. And that's derived from your past comments.
