So dope is more important than the children's well being
Why am I not surprised

It is a strange and twisted logic. But that seems the direction.
I suspect he overstepped his position and wasn't intellectually big enough to retreat and restate it.
Seems insane to me as now presented.

How many pancakes
does it take to build a dog house?

The theme of this thread seems to be....ignore logic and use any bizarre claim to rationalize legalizing drug abuse.

I am now curious if all these fathers were out of jail ..then the children woundnt have to get drugs from the local pusher but rather just have the father hook the kid up......GIA may be on to something here :humm:

Replace the neighborhood pusher with an ex-con parent that's already been busted for selling dope?
Like....keep sales and abuse all within the family circle?

Doesn't sound like good family values to me :D

"Here son you dont need to go to school any more....We sell dope boy....now go get your ass across the street from the school and wait for school to get out.....I am not allowed within 500 hundred yards of a school or I would do it myself "

Do you see alcohol sellers in the school yards?

Have you ever read an actual official government report?
..................................

The sale of alcohol to adults is controlled by the state.
And yet it's still abused by children.

So I'm calling BS on your post.
A quick search brought this up:
http://www.adolescent-substance-abuse.com/binge-drinking-underage.html
excerpt>
In 2000, almost one in five underage persons aged 12 to 20 was a binge drinker, drinking five or more drinks on the same occasion on at least one day in the past 30 days.

The rate of binge drinking among underage persons was almost as high as among adults aged 21 or older.

Underage persons who reported binge drinking were 7 times more likely to report using illicit drugs during the past month than underage persons who did not binge drink.
