I always dreamed of being a Police Officer. My knees are so fucked up from my Military service, that will never happen.

Me and my sister wanted, when we were very young, to own a van together which on one side would be an ice cream van for the summer, and on the other side be a hotdog van for the winter. We thought it was a pretty foolproof business plan.

I like that idea.

I dreamed of being a professional BMX biker...

That dream never happened. Oh well :)
I'm happy with my life, so I accept how it is.

I dreamt of being a lawyer. Defending the weak and so on. :ninja
Later I wished to study graphic design or social working, but it wasn't possible to study.

Now I do teacher studies. Dream job as well. :)

My birthday is on the 21st so I always thought it would be cool to get married when I was 21 because it's my "lucky year". I went to Kentucky for a dream job instead. :D

Which month? My birthday is on the 21st, as well. :D March. :)

edit: One day, I will be able to take a look at a user's profile instead of asking silly questions.

For whatever reason I couldn't stop laughing at this. I mean...I understand the ice cream in the summer thing but the hotdogs in the winter just threw me off. I guess I imagined hot cocoa or something. But hotdogs? :24:

I never had any over the top dreams. Like most kids I went through a phase of wanting to be a vet but then after I realized I would have to work with hurt animals (DUH!) I turned my sights onto optometry instead.

I also dreamed of living on the beach. Unfortunately teacher money can only afford a house next to puddles that form after a heavy rain. :(

I wanted to be an archaeologist from the age of 6 until I was 15. Then I failed my history GCSE because the subject areas were all modern History and I really dislike it (Nazi Germany, which we did every bloody year, The Fall of Tsarist Russia [which I did enjoy] and American History from 1900-1980) and I just couldn't be bothered with History any more. I enjoy many, MANY periods of history and Secondary school sucked it out of me with their biased teaching and the same few periods which we did again and again and again AND AGAIN. And I don't really want to do a degree in it for the same reasons. I don't want to end up hating it.

Which is a shame. Since then, I've never had a clear idea of what I want to do.

That's crazy, you guys didn't study the ancient world, dark ages, or anything before the 1800's?

I used to want to write commercials when I was little, but...not so much now. Part of my weight loss goal is to get myself back into ballet, because that is also a dream. I've always wanted my own home, a husky, a pool, a '68 Camaro and a good husband. Sigh.
