Downton Abbey- Good human drama series on PBS, Masterpiece theater about a pre-WWI English family (titled) and their servants. Part 4 was this last Sunday. According to IMBD it was first shown in Oct 2010. Don't know if it is available on demand.

Just started watching this on DVD. I'm on Season 2 and I love it! It took a couple episodes to get hooked, but hooked I am. Anyone else watch this show?

I really, absolutely adored the first season of this show. It was clever and unique and entirely enjoyable. However, about halfway through the second season, I felt like the show gave up its standards. The writing became sloppy and it felt like the characters were no longer even certain of their own personalities or morals. I tried to force myself to watch through the third season, but it just got worse. The drama felt so contrived.

I'm glad others are having a good time, though!
