What a creeper, glad you're safe and good thing your boyfriend showed up like the others have said.

Yes it's assault but I doubt that man will get punished the way he should, just a slap on the wrist.

I worked in a pub up until recently. It had a bit of a rough reputation round my area but it was fine really - this was one of those typical male-dominated pubs with about 3 women, including me, in it each night. They were quite a harmless bunch, I think they just enjoyed my company, though when a couple got pissed they could be cheeky, but those were usually the younger ones.

I enjoyed working there a lot, so you can imagine I was pretty pissed off when they ditched me for a much fatter, uglier girl. Think I'm being mean? Think again. I'm the one who's clearly been hard done by. The only females who stepped foot in the place was the short fat landlady, her hugely overweight daughter and a 50 yr old nutjob who helped behind the bar. The landlady is very small but very loud - so typical of landladies. It was her husband who hired me (a very wimpish, weak-willed man who does whatever she says) and I found out she ordered him to sack me DESPITE the fact that I was doing great with the punters and I learned really quickly to handle the bar on my own. Obviously the husband didn't have the nerve to tell me to my face that I no longer had a job there, I had to find out by wandering in one day and seeing this new girl who looked like a clone of the landlady and her daughter working in my space. I was so pissed off I knocked the stools over and stomped out. She's lucky I didn't do more. She was clearly jealous of the attention I received from the punters and the final straw must have been (when I think more about it) on the second to last day when one of them said loudly "It's nice to have something nice to look at behind the bar for once!" HAHAHA - she's a rude old tart who cut me from a good job which I was doing well out and I'm still angry about it now.

But there are plenty of pubs, sure to find another one - except I will work for a MAN ONLY this time, with no loudmouth wife who's keeping him in his place.

were you on eastenders?:D

I suppose had the uncomfortable touching continued and your boyfriend hadn't turned up - you could have given him some proper uncomfortable touching via a swift punch to the nuts.

Pervy middle aged men hitting on you!.. i dont mean.. harmless flirting either!!.. im talking proper uncomfotable touching and general SLEEZE.

had some guy in the other night.. claimed he was a photographer when he over hear dme talking to one of the regluars. He was clearly bullshitting cos he really didn tknow anythign about anything.. but any way i was polite, smiled and when to serve some 1 else. As i walk i way all i hear is *in a rough pervy voice* "mmmmm you are soo full of sex".. i turn round and give him the look of death.

So every 1 is leaving bar is closed.. hes still sipping at his drink. i go up to him n tel him he has to drink up.. n he grabbed my arm and started telling me i was beautiful.. so i pulled away form him.. keeping a distance and told him again tha he has to leave. i was the only one in the bar at this point cos the supervisor was down stairs cashing up.

luckly my BF came in at that point cos he always picks me up when i do a close. The guy didnt see him come in and was still muttering some shit about him being really funny and how i supposidly loved his sense of humour. so i shout over to andy to make it known that he was there.

The guy then starts to tell Andy how i wont stay with him and that il run off with some 1 else and shit like that.. WTF!

took his drink off him and told him to leave.

ARSEHOLE

I'm really really sorry! I swear I wont do it again!

thats a little harsh.. i have a male manager.. u can image that the number of female employees out weigh the male.. They like to have a woman behind the bar cos apparantly we are better at diffussing situations.. (by that i mean distract them wiht our breasts) it not a good idea to have all female staff on a busy sat night with no bouncer though *mumble mumble mumble*.. the manager felt our wrath when shit hit the fan and we had to go over the road and steal another pubs bouncer to break up a fight.. He didnt make that mistake again..

We had a similar situation in the pub I was in a couple of months ago when some twat jumped over the bar to try and kick the shit out of the barman. Was this guy a football supporter wearing a scarf? Just asking because he was in our situation so one of my mates grabbed both end of his scarf and strangled him round a beer tap, ramming his head repeatedly into the copper nossle while another mate smashed a bottle of Newcastle Brown over his head.
