There comes a time in life when one has to let go of those people who's only nice when they need you. Or when they receive gifts from you, they pretend to like you. They treat you like shit when they're done with you. Who obviously treat non-close friends they state much better than they treat their so called real life friend. Instead, one should surround oneself with people who have positive outlook in life, those who make you laugh and who are there for you no matter what & not as an obligation/favour but simply as a friend. Focus on those who appreciate and accept you as you are with no conditions, no rules. After all, life is too short to be anything but for us to be happy and contented in life
