I prefer hairy men to an extent, I think it makes them look more manly ;) I think it's just got to do with society's likes and wants changing over time - arm hair traps body odour so might as well fuck it off.

what a weird thread.

Being a European, I can say I've never seen a girl that doesn't shave under her arms... I've heard the rumours about the germans and the french, but never seen it in reality.

But it is an interesting idea. Why do women these days have to shave their privates and men don't? I find that very odd...

ha the french shave. I'm friends with a girl who is french and i asked her about it she basically just laughed in my face.

But besides the hygiene, I hate double standards. I feel that a man should be able to do whatever he wants and a woman should be able to do whatever she wants. I'm trying to raise my son that if he wants to play football that's fine...if he wants to do ballet that's fine too. Fuck society and what people may think, they're not living their life for you.

There's a pretty big age difference between me and my boyfriend. He's much older than I am. Just a few minutes ago, I saw a picture of my ex boyfriend with his new girlfriend. The age difference between the two of them is the same as between me and my boyfriend, except she's older. I immediately started to mentally list all the Cougar and "B's dating a grandma" jokes I could possibly throw out.

As soon as I did, I remembered this thread and checked myself. You're right. There are a lot of double standards out there. I guess I'm more guilty of them than I thought.

Wasn't there a thread like this before? I think it all comes down to preference. .I prefer my S.O. to be shaven, and if she prefers it from me, then so be it.

As for the double standard about men and women being sluts. .Pretty sure some one else here used the lock and key analogy before and it is hilarious(albeit sexist.)

"If a key opens lots of locks, it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a shitty lock."

Keeping yourself groomed on either side is a good idea.

Guy having a Bush - Bad
Girl Having a Bush - Bad

Both sides normally don't care for it
I try to be in between so everyone's happy

I dont have a problem with a girl if she dosen't shave her armpits or legs but there's no way I'm tapping that, I just personally find it a complete turnoff. That said, I'm not too keen on the completely bald minge, it feels wrong, like I'm shagging a pre pubescent girl or something.:willy_nilly:
