Also, if you don't like the idea of her being cooped up, find a boarder that has individual runs for each pet. We boarded Shadow just once but we made sure it had individual runs instead of just cells.

There are two really good boarding kennels here that have separate areas for the dogs. An inside area that is heated in winter and A/C in summer ... with a TV in each area.... off the ground sleeping area.... a separate area they can go potty in if they need to overnight.... and an outside fenced run each. They also brush out your dog and wash bedding on pick up day.
