One of my facebook friends is a woman who often posts things about what a great husband she has and how much she loves him. He is active on facebook but never responds. Wouldn't a "thank you or I love you too or you are a great wife" be in line?
maybe they are not friends on FB and as such he cannot see her posts
In general (not you Fred) people let stuff that happens on Facebook carry too much weight in their personal lives. I'm sure he's very appreciative of his wife (otherwise, I doubt she would be so happy to be married to him) regardless of if he expresses it via Facebook or not. It's really pretty ridiculous how much emotion people put into that stupid website.
There are people who destroy their lives over something on the internet. Amazing how much passion can be wasted on someone you don't really know. For me I would at least respond if my wife posted such things.
Amazing isn't the word that comes to mind for me. Also, I agree, if I had a wife, and she posted nice things to me on FB, I'd certainly reply, it's the polite thing to do. However, in general people just put way too much emotion into Facebook, and it's pretty sad.
He is active on facebook. I would only assume they are friends.

Oh yah.. Put me on your Facebook and I will show you NO Emotions...![]()
I don't even use my Facebook account aside from reading shit from my family.
i dont find it odd. not everyone is so involved in FB to care to respond.
i find it more odd to care and be bothered by someone not responding to something like that
doesn't bother me I just wondered how others might feel if their spouse was saying nice things about them on a site they both frequent.
mostly English people in my bitter and twisted experienceSome people just aren't that lovey-dovey on facebook (or in person).
