Quite wrong. Think J W and blood.

Think what?

And there are, the quaker church of england has already said it will marry gays. If Church of England and Roman Catholic don't want too, you can't force them, as much you'd clearly love to...

What's interesting to me is that religious leaders treat homosexual marriage as a much more heavier sin compared to other sins like drug indulgence, lying, or stealing.

Perhaps they donnot marry gays because they are afraid of their own 'fate' rather than actually caring what another person does.

I guess you have not noticed how the Abrahamic religions are into social control and manipulation. That includes sexual control.
Can't have sheeple just doing what sheep do now can they?

Governments already know when and how to force a church to follow the laws of the land.
J W and the blood issue is a good case in point. If they are to protect the young bodies, then I think they should also get involved in the brainwashing part of belief in fantasy and magic. That is also abuse in my book.

Actually, I don't care what the churches do. Their status quo is killing them and that is good for my agenda.
The point is that they should be made to follow the law of the land. They are in no way a better citizen than you or I.

and they do... what is your point?

Telling a Church what they can't do is no different to telling a gay person what they can't do.

I think that we are well within our rights to ask churches to follow the same laws that the rest of us have to follow.

Sure.Check that first link I gave for the first time.

The Catholic church requires priests to be celibate. So their sexual preference doesn't really matter. Of course, we could argue celibacy is a discriminatory restriction. But then, should Hooters not be allowed to hire only women with large breasts?

Actually I think both celibacy and breast size are stupid criteria for hiring. There are many in the Catholic church who are trying to get the celibacy restriction changed. I don't know if anyone is trying to get Hooters to change.

I'm not really in favor of the government getting involved. The government has the responsibility to ensure every citizen who wants a job can get one. But quota type systems should be a last resort.

I am not advocating quotas. I am advocating that the church follow the law of the land.
They are just another citizen and we do not rule this land. We are to follow the law.

Churches do follow the law of the land. Sounds like you're advocating changing the law of the land.

No. Just enforcement.

Check my first link in the O P and you will see that they are not faithful to the spirit or letter of the law.

In fact, they are ignoring the law of the land for their own stupid Bible law.
