Wars, economic collapses, and social upheavals seem to follow patterns. Some believe history repeats itself, while others argue that circumstances change. Do you think history provides clear lessons, or are humans doomed to make the same mistakes? What historical event do you see repeating today?

History repeat itself. And human beings never learn, they do realize past mistakes but the realization does not help them from making another mistakes.

History often repeats because we fail to learn from past mistakes. I’ve noticed patterns like conflicts and inequality recurring, showing that awareness alone isn’t enough.

If humans don't learn from history then I think history will repeat itself.

It's just like if you don't learn from your mistakes then you will keep making them over and over again if you refuse to learn from them.

I believe we humans just find a way to blame it on history repeating itself when we could have done something to prevent the tragedy in the first place. If we learn from what had happened and do things differently, tragic history events will not repeat itself.

While it is true that history repeats itself, there are also various factors to consider why an individual forgets the past. Or it might be a predestined act like karma. That could also be called the power of the boomerang.
