Does God ---- Do unto others?

this Atlantic Article The Torture's Apprentice is a interesting read linking modern interrogation techniques with the organization who made great strides in the advancement of torture/interrogation, the Christian Church during the Inquisition!

interesting article, thanks for sharing

I'm bothered that the US tortured terrorists or sent them to other countries to be tortured under the last administration. I hope that practice has stopped. If we allow fear to cause us to behave like animals then it would cheapen life to the point I wouldn't want it.

And they think if it happens somewhere else it's as if it does not count? Absolutely disgusting. Torture used to be a line the U.S. never crossed. Now as long as it's done out of sight, it's A-OK. So I guess U.S. POWs are expendable now. :(

It may all be psychological warfare with the message being that if you come at me with a knife, I will retaliate with a gun.

We are so called Christian nations and many have told me that God is not subject to his own laws.

Perhaps this mind set is working at the level of our political Gods.

I have noted that people will vote for a person who they thing will put no limits on how he will protect the population. Moral or not.

Was it Peru that elected someone known to have been involved in a genocide?
