Should speakers consider societal consequences before expressing opinions, or does ethics risk becoming a tool for censorship? How can freedom of expression coexist with moral accountability?

Ethical responsibility can sometimes limit free speech when words cause harm, spread misinformation, or infringe on others’ rights. Free speech isn’t absolute, it works best alongside accountability. Balancing expression with ethics ensures dialogue remains constructive and respects both individual liberty and the well-being of others.

Free speech shouldn't be understood in an extreme sense. We can't allow neo nazis speak in the name of free speech, right.
