Democracy is often seen as the fairest system, but issues like voter manipulation and misinformation challenge its integrity. Does democracy genuinely empower citizens, or does it merely create an illusion of choice? How can democratic systems be improved?

Yes to a large extent as Democracy can be thought of as power of the people: a way of governing which depends on the will of the people.

Democracy truly reflects the will of majority of people. The beauty of democracy is it also respects the minority.

Democracy reflects the will of the people imperfectly. It gives citizens a voice, but outcomes are shaped by power, media, money, and participation gaps. It works best when institutions are strong, information is fair, and people stay actively engaged.
