Doc Appt.

Had a doc appt today and they found a mole type freckle on my back that they are concerned about it (may be cancer). They are not going to bother doing a biopsy. They just want to go ahead and schedule the minor operation and remove it. After it is removed they will send it to pathology to see what it is.

For those of you that believe in God, I would ask for you to please remember me in your prayers. This is not the first 'mole' I've had removed. Thanks.

* For all of you young ones out there: Wear SUNBLOCK! When you avoid sunburns when you are young it cuts your chances of getting skin cancer by 50% later in life.

* For all you Moms out there: Put sunblock on your kids.

Wow how did this get missed? I hope it turns out to be benign.

Have you ever noticed this mole or any other mole before?

Thanks James. I have quite a few freckle/moles (not very raised), more like irregular shaped freckles and they grow in the size of area they cover. (I was a sun goddess in my younger years)

I'll be having the minor surgery in 2 weeks.

Grace, I'm sure you will be fine. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers though. Those kind of moles run in my family and we're always getting them removed, I've never run into one that wasn't benign. Good luck hun!!!
