Do you think using your TV to surf the internet is the future?

Why not just use your TV as a computer monitor to enjoy a higher resolution and get a TV tuner so you can watch TV?

That might have been necessary before, but not now, with most stations posting episodes of their shows on their websites, and on hulu, there is no need for tuner anymore.

I like the idea of going on the internet with my tv, but I still like my computer. I don't see people leaving their computers behind for the tv. It's still new so it's popular, but things like this do not last forever.

I have a smart TV. I watch YouTube videos on my TV. The screen is so much bigger. But for messaging and browsing the internet, I prefer to use my laptop.

I do see traditional cable, and satellite services, going bye-bye. They have always been overpriced for what they offer.

You are right they will proffer to offer premium content only to give things that are below par. very annoying
