Do you skip to the end of a book to find out how it ends before actually reading it?

No I don't do it, but I know someone who does. Whenever he gets a book, he usually open to the last few pages of a book to see out it ends before he starts to read 😳.
I actually find it weird because I feel it has killed the suspense of the story as he already knows how it ends.
Do you also do this? Or do you think it is odd?

No, I don't skip the book to read the end. When I read, I don't just read for what happens next, I read for character development, story, writing style, etc.

No, I don't. It's tempting but I don't like to do that. I do like it when someone reveals spoilers about a book I'm reading so I'm definitely not going to skip to the end of the book to see how it ends.

Exactly, I don't like when somebody gives me spoilers when I am reading a book. I just spoils the fun for me. That is why I find it odd that people can skip to the ending of the book to see how it ends.

No, I usually read a book from start to finish. I find the journey and how the story unfolds more rewarding than knowing the ending right away.
