I have grown up in this crap and this is early for it being this cold...but... I am becoming more and more intolerant of the cold and bad roads..

I don't actually hate winter.... I hate having to drive on icy or snow covered roads. I hate it being dark so much. I hate the extreme cold temperatures.

I try to think back to those 100 degree days of summer and the heat and humidity and relentless sun.... then I snuggle up in front of the fire and just smile. :)
 
I hate winter with a passion. Nobody hates winter more than me. NOBODY. My feet are always cold. In fact, they are blocks of ice right now and I'm sitting on them. :( I love snow and think it's beautiful. It's just too bad that it has to be below freezing to have snow. :thumbdown

It stormed today. Nothing intense but we've gotten a lot of snow and it's still coming down. That is cool. The fact that it was also -25C with the windchill is not.

LOL... I totally get ya... But I would take a green Christmas... we had once since I have been living here.. 2005... it was warm enough that we all were in shorts and tanks..:surrender

if you hate the cold, snow and ice, don't bitch about it, move someplace where there isn't so much cold, snow and ice.

not that i really love that kind of weather, after 4 seriously hot, drought summers, i was seriously considering moving back north. you can always bundle up more and light a fire if it's too cold but sometimes it's so hot you want to start peeling off your skin after the clothes have been shed.

fortunately, we had a pretty mild summer, so i got that insane notion out of my head.

Not everyone has the luxury of just picking up and moving whenever or where ever they want.
 
hate hate hate hate the cold!! i even hate the idea of getting cold! below 75F and its cold for me!! id love to move to Hawaii where its like 80 all year long!

in the summer the AC stays on 78-80 during the day. if it gets stuffy, just turn on the fans! friends make fun of me cause i always have a sweater handy!

THANK GOD snow is unheard of in my parts!!

i can understand that people perceive obligations that are difficult to break that deny them the ability to just up and move simply because the weather is objectionable.

on the other hand, if the weather is so wrong for you that you don't move, you sure aren't going to make a very good impression with the natives if you bitch about the weather all the time.

if someone also hates the job that makes it impossible for them to find a climate more to their liking , maybe it's time for some therapy.

texans are such weather wimps they bitch about all the weather, hot or cold, wet or dry.

It's not easy to move a family around when the whim hits. Good paying jobs just don't materialize outta thin fucking air...

And having family close at hand is a lot nicer than be suck somewhere where you don't know anyone.

And as Canadian bitching about the weather is a hobby. But THIS Canadian hates winter always has. But since I LIKE being Canadian.. I will continue to bitch about the weather. Thanks.
