Cucumber is low glycemic (just 15), so it is are safe for people with diabetes. Regular consumption may even help manage blood sugar levels. It has less than 1gram of fats per 100 gram, which means it is suitable for those with fatty liver, high cholesterol, or high blood pressure. I like eating cucumber for health benefits as well as taste.

I never developed a love of cucumbers. I am not fond of the taste and usually get indigestion from them when I do eat cucumbers.
