Boring day. I should probably get going on some school work.

Went to the mall and partook in a chili cookoff as a taster. $5 for an armband and the opportunity to sample 20-some chili recipes. Got to hang out with Mrs. North Dakota, USA, and two former Mrs. ND's USA. Had a great time!

Went for a 3.33 mile walk and then a 4 mile bike ride.

Drove 3.5 hours to Jersey, had lunch with my mom then visited with my grandparents and aunt for a while... tomorrow I'm visiting dad & his GF for a bit before doing the 3.5 hour drive back up. So much driving for a weekend, but I hadn't seen any of them since Christmas (which is a really long time for me actually, lol)

Painting including trim is done. Probably going to cut a couple of pieces of trim today to add in the laundry room then move appliances back.

so much for not doing anything this weekend. Just got back in after 5 hours out with the hubby, my kids, my brothers n sisters, nieces and nephews and their kids, playing rounders and hounds n hairs. Great day out

Aww I remember playing that when I was wee, rounders that is. I dunno what hounds and hairs is. I love being outside playing.

lol@ hairs. I meant Hares!
Hounds n Hares are two teams. One team are hares, who runs off. The other team (Hounds) are the ones who go and seek the hares, and if they are caught, has to go back to main base and wait until all the team is found. If someone is left and not found, Hares wins. Then the teams swap around, and then they run off!

Ok...I know this thread was made for last weekend. But I wanted to contribute anyway.

I will be off work next week for spring break! I can not wait. Life has been extremely hectic lately. I am throwing a wedding shower for my teammate on Thursday and have the final interview for a coaching position I have applied for on Friday. If I can make it through Friday, I will be golden.

So be ready to see me lingering this place again here soon. I will have a lot more free time on my hands (until spring break is over anyway). I have missed it around here!
