What could be the solid retirement plan? Maybe investing in real estate, stock market, crypto market, and maintaining a healthy bank balance. Do you have a solid retirement plan, what does your retirement plan look like. As far as I am concerned, having a house, sizable savings in the bank, stocks in a few reliable companies, and also crypto, and a passive income is my solid retirement plan. I believe with this kind of diversified portfolio, I can live comfortably in my old age without financial worries.

Not yet, but I’m trying to figure out where to start. Building a retirement plan feels overwhelming when income, expenses, and long-term goals keep shifting.

Our goal was always to be debt free. Only utilities, insurance, food, clothing, and medical as regular expenditures. My goal was 25% of our saved income in blue chip stocks, 25% in mutual funds & T-bills, 25% in short term CD's at the best rate available, and 25% in money market insured savings accounts. Add social security to that and we are in good financial shape. Presently I am a little out of balance with more than 25% in stocks, I am not going to adjust for now.

The truth is that we need to have a solid retirement plan. This will be a good companion in years to come. Especially when it comes to our financial well-being in future. But unfortunately I don't have one in place now.
