If you're married, do you get along with your in-laws?

I didn't get along with mine at all after I met them. My ex wife's mother & sister hated me and boycotted the wedding. Towards the beginning of my divorce I had gotten to the point where I wanted nothing to do with her family seeing as they always caused more problems for me. I'm glad that's over and behind me.

I am not married at the moment but I am in a long-distance relationship and unfortunately, his parents judged me before they got to know me. Let's just say a few words were said about me that I can not repeat here but that has left me with a sour taste in my mouth and knowing we probably will not get on at all now after what was said.

I've had a few girlfriends in the past whose parents hated me. It has always gotten progressively worse the longer I was in a relationship with those people. No matter how hard I would try, nothing ever became of it. The woman I'm with now, her parents really do like me and I'm not used to that.

Yeah, it really does feel like that is how it is going to be with my boyfriend's parents, to be honest. They tend to make things difficult already and we haven't even met and that only makes things difficult and I only see them getting worse in the future.

My in-laws treat me like a son. My wife's sister and her husband are different from us but we get along okay.

I do get along with them, they treat me as their son. Every Friday morning I spend time with my mother in law, since she's on disability and is usually by herself most of the week. We watch Battlebots and get breakfast.

I'm not married, but my significant other's parents are great. I think they done parenting right. There's so many thing's that I see that I would definitely do with my own children. Unlike my parents 😂

It can be very difficult having to be with people that hate you and most times for no just reasons it is better to stay away for your sanity

I am not yet married but when I eventually do, I hope I would have in laws that would also be like parents to me. My partner's mom is soft spoken even though I am yet to meet her physically.

Yes, I have no issues with my in-laws. They don't interfere with our choices and decisions, but they do support us for our endeavors.
