...get sick of internet forums? lol

I like the lightness (usually ) of this one, and because it is not an advice forum, I have found it a nice escape.
That being said, I kind of lurk in another forum and have been a member of a number of others, usually with heavier topics and those asking for advice.

I just read a post on another forum and became nearly nauseated :24:
I'm so sick of stupid ass self-righteous egotistical opinions on things, and people pushing so hard to be "right" when giving advice to someone else about their life. :surrender

Well there seems to be a very high percentage of idiots, trolls and keyboard warriors who join forums. Most of the time I can just laugh at them of ignore their pathetic behaviour. I do get too wound up about them from time to time as would anyone being subjected to incessant abuse without anything being done. I do step away from the forum then for a few days to calm dowm and keep things in perspective. I really have no reason to give a fuck about what some idiot hiding behind their keyboard thinks of me.

I used to go to MySpace.

I went there for about 6 to 7 years. I got fed up with the place because it was full of idiots. And well truth be known, I was well known to speak my mind and just straight to the point of, if I think someone is being an idiot..I will tell them so.

I am alot more laid back here, because lets face it. It is full of lovely people. I am really glad I found this place, because I love talking to you all, and I find it very entertaining.

Great job on keeping this forum, what I call special.

It's true. I took a break from all of it for a while, then started lurking and I just can't believe I'd waste my time on a lot of that stuff. Half of the people are lying about their situations, and people just act so stupid trying to give advice. I'm over it

Lol on advice forums there is usually one person who thinks they are the thread savior with the best advice for the person. This thread savior happened to use all caps when replying to someone, which is another pet peeve of mine. It was a double whammy.

Basically I said to myself "who the fuck cares?"

I come here to have a laugh, exchange ideas, and have interesting conversations. If I start getting sick of the forum, I take a break from it. A forum isn't worth getting upset over.

Otz is great during the summer for killing time at work.
