The kids who belong to a broken family may find it hard to live parents separated. At their young age they cannot grasp an accurate answer about the reasons why their parents decide to part ways. Some teens who belong to a broken family commit suicide due to depression and some join a gang just to have friends they can turn to. I am lucky, I don't belong to a broken family
What about you?

My dad died when I was young. My family was closely knit until my grandparents passed. Since then I rarely see my relatives outside my children, my mother & sister.

@AUFred ,sorry to hear about your experience. I hope someday you all will be connected. My parents also passed away after graduation in college. I live with my two sisters.

Thankfully, I don't live with a broken family. My father and mother have been together since I was born and I don't see that ever changing. My mother divorced her previous husband with whom she had my sister, but my current father became more like a father to her than he ever was. I have such a tight-knit bond with my mother and father that I still live with them, but there are various other reasons I still live with them.

Thankfully, now. My parents have been married for almost 50 years and they still love and care for each other. My parents children are happily married with kids. However, I have seen broken families and how the kids are affected in these families

Well, I didn't have to experience that. But I don't think it is good that a child gets affected as the parents are not together. Just enjoy the one you have and continue to grow

My parents stayed together, however they had their problems and would argue quite often. So I guess I could say that even though they stayed together my family was a bit broken. Once my sister turned 16, she stopped staying at home and would stay at her friend's houses more often. I guess she just got tired of hearing my parents argue, and my dad being loud and rowdy since he was an alcoholic.

I’m quite fortunate as I don’t come from a broken family. Most of my family members get along quite nicely and i’m close to most of my family.
