We all knew from the sweet and sour tongues of people that money cannot buy happiness. But for me, I want to refute them because money can buy happiness through the way it facilitates making us happy. Will you be happy without money? Will you be happy if you cannot go to the medic because you do not have money? Doctor's fee alone is soaring like crazy how much more to the medicine? Well, there are people who may say that money cannot buy happiness in relation to love if there is no love chemistry, not the right match so money has nothing to do. Foremost, we need money to satisfy our hunger and daily needs. What is your contention about this thing?

…money can obviously bring financial security and financial security will ease some anxieties and worries…which I think can help a layer of what could be defined as happiness…but happiness is very multi layered, I feel ….so money would make a difference but to create happiness…many other layers would also have to be without anxieties or worries also…health being the obvious one…both physical and mental health….

Obviously, the winning answer right here.

With that said, I'll never say no to more money though xD

As far as I'm concerned, money can buy happiness for me. I would rather have money than not. Money will buy me all the good things of life that's going to make me a very happy person.

Money can buy happiness and when there is a level of happiness that money can not buy, more money is definitely going to buy it. People that claim that happiness ain't tied to money are the ones that are delusional about what life is all about.

I believe money can buy pleasure. Happiness is deeper than just pleasure. Money can provide comfort but one can still be miserable.

I believe it depends on how materialistic of a person you are. I think that money could buy me happiness, if only temporary one due to not having to work or worry about finances.

It’s true that money can offer financial security and peace of mind, among other benefits. However, some wealthy individuals still struggle with their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. If you are experiencing hardships in these areas, having a lot of money won’t be enough to solve those problems.

When you have financial security, to a large extent, you would be less worried and it is quite easy to achieve happiness from that position. Poor people are in a position that worries takes away their happiness. Money helps to make one happy.

That's an interesting perspective. True happiness emerges from both our personal inner strength and good personal relationships even though money creates room for so many opportunities but it can't buy happiness..

I don't know the form of happiness that money can't buy. It can buy all the material things that can give a person happiness. Money also pays for good health which makes you happy. The only thing money can't buy is life and that in itself is subjective to contexts.

Money can actually buy happiness, but i believe there are certain levels of happiness that money alone cannot get you. Let's say for example, a healthy family is a happy family. Money alone cannot guarantee good health.

I agree that money alone cannot buy happiness, but it provides security, opportunities, and freedom—factors that contribute to well-being. True happiness comes from meaningful relationships, purpose, and self-fulfillment. Money can enhance life, but without deeper connections, it feels empty. Balance is key.

I don't agree that money cannot buy happiness because I believe that money is the only thing that can actually buy you happiness. You can't even eat if you don't have money. How can you be happy when you are hungry?
