Monopolies exist in capitalism, but do they truly control the economy? Free markets encourage competition, yet some argue that big corporations limit opportunities. Does capitalism balance wealth distribution, or does it favor the powerful?

Capitalism promotes growth, but unchecked monopolies concentrate power, limiting competition and widening the wealth gap over time.

Monopolies definitely influence capitalist economies, they limit competition, control prices, and often prioritize profit over people. I’ve noticed how a few big players dominate markets, making it harder for small businesses and innovation to thrive.

I think monopolies can distort capitalist economies by limiting competition, raising prices, and reducing innovation.
