People are encouraged to recycle, use less plastic, and reduce energy use. Critics argue that large corporations cause most environmental damage. How much impact do personal habits really have? Should the focus be on individual behavior or systemic change?

Individual choices reduce demand, normalize better habits, and influence markets over time. However, real impact comes when those choices add up and are backed by systemic changes from governments and industries. One without the other isn’t enough.

I’ve been trying to separate plastic in my house and it feels nice but does it really move anything? It's very discouraging when you see big companies still dumping rubbish anyhow, my motivation just drops. Those people need to join too.
