I hear you. I am an Independent, as I think I have previously stated, and a little on the progressive side, what bothers me is that anytime conservatism is mentioned, it has the unfortunate underpinnings of these asshole pundits and bigoted patriarch saints of the right wing.

I hate that the individuals who have the conservative approach to federal spending, along with other key issues that truly affect our nation, seem anymore to be overshadowed by issues that in NO WAY have anything to do with effective government. I could care less if a man wants to marry another man, I don't agree with it fundementally, but hell let them get married, that way they can be miserable too

It really pisses me off where the prioroties of both parties have turned.
